- Maybe it's really harmless:

- I once had exactly the same problem. It was just the loosen power cord.
- There was enough power for the CPU and the power LED, but not for the
- floppy. I just had to plug in the power cord hard enough, and then
- everything worked well.

- If the problem isn't that easy, you can test, which one is out of order,
- the floppy or the A500 -- if you have a friend with an A500. It's easy to
- exchange the internal floppies, you just have to open the computers.
